Made of Solid 3/4 inch Aromatic Red Cedar, and finished with a privately formulated hand rubbed oil finish that penetrates deeply, and greatly hardens the Cedar wood surface itself. We provide you with a lifetime finish that is in the wood, not on it. It can never peel or yellow, and can be reoiled, or polished very easily in your own home in future years (though this is not necessary).
We can keep our Cedar Chest prices quite low, and our quality high, for we operate as a small family business, making our Handmade Cedar Chests right at home with no employees, no middle men, and little overhead.
We will try to ship your Hope Chest as soon as possible, often we can within a couple weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: for the Large & X-Large Chest, the shipping is figured via truck to a business location. If you cannot arrange this, and must have a residential delivery, the shipping costs an additional $55. Sorry about this, but UPS damages these large chests too often.
