Rustic or Premium grade options:
Depending on how you want to use this Amish made Jumbo Buckboard, we offer you the Rustic Grade, to save you money; and the Premium Grade for the nicest, finest material & finish available. The difference?
* The Rustic Grade is $115 less then the Premium. The Rustic is - Rustic! . The wood will have imperfections, some defects, knots & is not very smoothly sanded.
* The Rustic will not have a smooth, fine stain job or finish, and the Premium is the best they can do, with the best wood available, sanded to furniture grade.
* The Rustic has black steel metal wheel rims & parts which will rust, while for the Premium - they are all powder coated black (an expensive rust proofing finish, baked on).

Oil impregnated wheel bushings $ 190
[The standard wheel, without the wheel bushings, comes with 3/16th " thick steel rim bands. If you choose to add the Oil impregnated wheel bushings to the wheels, these wheels come with heavy duty 3/8" thick steel rim bands.]

These wooden Buckboard carriages are made of hardwood hickory and ash, with poplar floor boards. They are made to carry 800 #s. Sleigh runners can also be put on the Buckboard wood wagons instead of the wheels for use in snow and ice (click here for more info) .
